Why do I need to sign into Things People Make using Facebook?

We want to keep our community of crafters as open, honest, and real as possible and we want the sign in process to be as easy as possible. Using Facebook for login helps us with both of these objectives. When you use Facebook to access ThingsPeopleMake.com, you are actually logging in to Facebook, so we never see your password. They send us a verification, which allows you to log in to ThingsPeopleMake. For a more detailed explanation read this blog post.

Help! I've listed 30 Things/Tutorials, and I can't add more. What do I do?

Don't worry! Your 30 Things and 30 Tutorials can be switched out and updated as often as you'd like. If your buckets are full and you want to add a new Thing or Tutorial, simply remove your listing from one of your buckets and add in a new listing. It's really that simple! Feel like you won't be satisfied until you can list 100 Things at once? Stick around-you'll be able to soon!

How do I sell a Thing?

In order to sell a Thing, you must have a PayPal account. Your Thing for sale should be listed in the "Sell it!" stage, and you'll be prompted to give the Thing's item price, shipping price, and your PayPal account email. Once your Thing is purchased, it will no longer be listed for sale and you will be responsible for fulfilling the order.

We encourage all sellers to upgrade to a Free PayPal Business Account. This ensures that your buyers will not be able to view your email address. Instead, only the name of your business/shop will be visible to your buyers.

How do I buy a Thing?

Once you find a Thing you want to purchase, click the "Buy It!" button on the Thing's detail page. You'll be asked to pay with PayPal or your credit card. Once the seller receives payment, your Thing will be on its way!

Please note that Things People Make is NOT responsible for the fulfillment of your order.
